We are a timely film, arts, and interdisciplinary non-profit Lab, passionately committed to showcasing and incubating the works of filmmakers and artists from and about the Global African Diaspora, Latin America, and the Middle East. The LAB, which is a core component of NFA, teaches filmmaking and media arts and offers mentorship and career opportunities to youth and emerging filmmakers from our festival regions and underrepresented communities in Brooklyn, and beyond.
